Riyadh - Saudi Arabia
The Monaco Yacht Show witnessed a strategic step in the world of luxury marine tourism, represented by the signing of an agreement between the companies “Tahaluf” and “Sila”, in the presence of His Highness Prince Albert II, Prince of Monaco, to launch the inaugural edition of the “Red Sea Yacht Show”. The event is scheduled to be held at the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina during the period from 14 to 17 October 2027, with the official support of the Monaco Yacht Show and the support of “Boat International”.

A shared vision for maritime development

This partnership aims to transfer the long-standing international expertise of the most prestigious international yacht exhibitions to the Saudi coast. In this context, Mike Champion, CEO of Tahaluf, confirmed that choosing the Kingdom reflects the extent of the promising opportunities and rapid growth witnessed by the Red Sea. For his part, Engineer Amer Hussein Dakkak, General Manager of Destinations at Silah, pointed out that the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina offers an exceptional location to receive decision-makers and sailing enthusiasts, which contributes to raising the region’s global competitiveness.

An integrated experience of luxury and hospitality
The exhibition will provide an integrated experience that goes beyond displaying luxury yachts and support boats; It includes a system of high-end lifestyle experiences, including rare jewelry, luxury cars, and contemporary works of art, in addition to international dishes under the supervision of Michelin-starred chefs. This combination makes the event a major stop on the international agenda of the luxury tourism sector at the beginning of the winter season.

Promising investment and tourism opportunities

The exhibition represents an ideal destination for Arab tourists looking for marine entertainment experiences and high-end hospitality in an Arab environment characterized by authenticity and sophistication. On the investment level, this international event opens broad horizons for investors and decision-makers in the fields of managing luxury marinas, developing beach destinations, and maritime logistics services, which establishes the city of Jeddah as a main gateway for sustainable tourism investment along the regional coast.
