Abu Dhabi - UAE
Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE, announced the launch of its direct flights to Red Sea International Airport, starting next October 4, in a step that opens the door for its guests to reach one of the most prominent luxury tourist destinations on the coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, via a flight not exceeding three hours from Abu Dhabi.

International resorts are preparing to receive guests

This step comes at a time when the Red Sea coast is witnessing the opening of 11 resorts, with 6 more resorts preparing to open their doors soon. The growing hotel scene includes international resorts such as the Four Seasons and Nammoos, giving visitors wide options ranging from luxury, privacy and family recreation.

An experience that starts from the moment you arrive

According to operational details, flights will initially start with one flight per week on Sunday, before rising to two flights per week starting October 25, with the possibility of departing in the morning from Abu Dhabi and arriving at the beach in the afternoon, so that the vacation begins upon arrival.

An Arab destination par excellence
For Gulf and Arab tourists, this destination represents a qualitative addition to short travel options. From Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam, one can arrive via a single connecting flight in Abu Dhabi, while the stopover program in the Emirati capital provides an opportunity to discover its landmarks before continuing the trip.
