Dubai - UAE
British Airways announced the resumption of its flights to Dubai, starting next November 3, after a months-long suspension due to regional unrest. The British carrier will begin operating one daily flight between London and Dubai during the winter season, and the number will later increase to two flights daily.
A gradual return amid continuous assessment of the situation
This step comes as part of a gradual reorganization of the flight network in the Middle East. The company had postponed the resumption date from October 25 to November 3, while stressing that the safety of passengers and aircraft crews remains a priority in operating decisions.
Abu Dhabi is out of service until 2028
On the other hand, British Airways flights to Abu Dhabi will remain suspended until the winter season 2027-2028, which reflects the cautious approach followed by the carrier in restarting its services in the Emirates.
New and diverse options for travelers
The return of British Airways to Dubai means more options for travelers between the UK and the UAE, whether for Gulf tourists heading to London or British visitors coming to the region. This step comes as part of a broader wave of European airlines returning to the Emirates, with Lufthansa and Wizz Air resuming their flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi during the coming period, which will enhance air connectivity and expand travel options in the winter season.
