The conference will be held during the period from September 21 to 23 under the slogan: “Travel for treatment, stay for recovery: when patients become guests.” It is organized by the Tourism Committee of the Armenian Ministry of Economy and in cooperation with the United Nations Tourism Organization. Officials and experts from the sectors of health care, tourism, insurance and investment participate in it, in addition to representatives of international organizations and the private sector.

The conference discusses a wide range of topics, including the patient’s journey, the quality of health services, and accreditation standards, in addition to digital health, artificial intelligence, wellness, and prevention, as well as international partnerships and the ability of destinations to compete in the medical tourism market, which provides an integrated platform for exchanging experiences and opening new horizons for business.

Armenia...a unique blend of care and hospitality

Armenia benefits from specialized medical competencies, competitive treatment costs, and a well-established reputation for hospitality, allowing visitors from around the world to combine high-quality health care, recreation, and cultural experiences in one destination. These advantages reflect a strategic vision that aims to attract 3 million international visitors annually by 2030, in accordance with the ambitious tourism development program.

An opportunity for Arab tourists and investors

For the Arab traveler, Armenia opens its doors as a health destination that combines treatment and hospitalization in a rich natural and cultural environment, making it an attractive choice for those looking for an integrated experience that goes beyond the boundaries of medical care. On the investor level, the conference represents a golden platform to learn about investment opportunities in the growing medical tourism sector, especially with plans to develop seven tourism groups with investments amounting to $120 million, which enhances the attractiveness of the Armenian market as a promising investment destination in the Middle East and the Caucasus.
