Riyadh - Saudi Arabia
The activities of the Saudi Hotels and Hospitality Exhibition 2026 were officially launched on Tuesday, September 15, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC), with the participation of an elite group of hospitality sector leaders, operators, buyers and suppliers from inside and outside the Kingdom, at a time when the Saudi tourism sector continues to achieve rapid growth.

The current edition of the exhibition is held in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, and continues until September 17, with the participation of more than 80 exhibitors from 14 countries, including the Kingdom, Portugal, Turkey, Egypt, the Emirates, the United Kingdom, Italy, Pakistan, Poland, Germany, Bahrain, the Netherlands, and Hong Kong, with expectations of receiving more than 6,500 visitors over three days.

New activities... from coffee to barista

This year, the exhibition witnesses the launch of CoffeeZone as a specialized destination for the growing coffee sector in the Kingdom, in addition to hosting the Saudi Barista Championship 2026, where the winner gets the opportunity to represent the Kingdom in the World Barista Championship in Panama. SaudiHost also returns to strengthen its food service supply offering, and the Hotel and Hospitality Awards will be held on September 17.
“The pace of development of the hospitality sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is increasing the demand not only for more suppliers and solutions, but also for building stronger connections between the various components of the sector,” said Eileen O’Connell, Senior Vice President of Design and Hospitality at DMG Events.

Hospitality Leaders Summit...a dialogue on the future of the sector

The Hospitality Leaders Summit is held over the three days of the exhibition, and brings together an elite group of senior officials and leaders of the tourism and hospitality sectors to discuss the priorities, challenges, and opportunities that affect the next stage of the sector’s development. The exhibition is held in conjunction with Index Saudi Arabia, bringing together the hospitality, design and interior decoration communities in a broader platform for supply and business.

The hospitality sector is constantly expanding

This event comes in light of the remarkable growth of the Saudi hospitality sector, as the number of visitors reached 37.2 million visitors during the first quarter of 2026, with 362 thousand hotel rooms under development, which reflects the increasing demand for suppliers and operational solutions. Data from the Ministry of Tourism indicate that the number of licensed establishments exceeded 6,120 establishments, containing about 616 thousand licensed rooms, while the number of licensed hotels reached approximately 3,000 hotels.
