Lisbon - Portugal
An exceptional art exhibition was launched in the Portuguese city of Porto, bringing together an elite group of cartoonists from various countries of the world, in a cultural event that combines visual enjoyment and social criticism, and will continue until the end of this month.

Global business in an open location

The free exhibition was opened in the Alameda Shop & Spot mall in the city, and displays more than 50 selected artworks from the 52nd International Humor Salon in Piracicaba, Brazil, one of the most prestigious international festivals dedicated to animation and graphic humor, which was launched in 1974.

Humor that touches on world issues

The exhibition is not limited to arousing laughter only, but the displayed works address issues and events that shaped the world during the past five years, in a sarcastic style that combines criticism and exaggeration, giving visitors an interactive experience that touches on contemporary reality.

A long-standing Portuguese-Brazilian partnership
This event comes in partnership with the “Porto Cartoon” International Festival, which has been organized by the National Press Museum in Portugal for more than two decades, bringing together two leading international events in the field of comic art, one Portuguese and the other Brazilian, which strengthens cultural relations between the two countries across the Atlantic Ocean.

A free cultural destination for visitors

The exhibition provides visitors to Porto, especially Arab tourists and those interested in the arts, with a unique opportunity to see the creations of internationally known painters, including Boligan, Dalcio, Luis Carlos Fernandez, Darko Dreljevic and Liu Qiang, in an open and completely free atmosphere. This exhibition is a qualitative addition to the tourism movement in the city, as visitors can enjoy international caricature art during a tourist tour in one of the most beautiful European cities.
