Manama - Bahrain
The Supreme Organizing Committee of the Bahrain International Air Show announced the rescheduling of the eighth edition of the exhibition, which was scheduled for the period from 18 to 20 November 2026 at the Sakhir Air Base, to be held instead during the period from 15 to 17 November 2028.
A new date for wider participation
The committee explained in its statement that setting the new date aims to create the appropriate conditions for broader international participation, including visitors, exhibitors, delegations and sector partners, in a way that enhances their ability to take full advantage of the opportunities provided by the exhibition, which is known for its distinguished status at the international level. Specialized sources indicated that the postponement comes in light of the regional challenges that may affect the participation of major international aviation and space companies, especially with the ongoing tensions in the region.
A solid position on the global events map
The Supreme Organizing Committee confirmed that preparations for the eighth edition are continuing in close coordination with stakeholders, partners, and the international aviation and space community, noting that the exhibition contributes to building partnerships, supporting international business and trade opportunities, and consolidating the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position as a prominent destination for specialized international events. She expressed her aspiration to welcome exhibitors, visitors, delegations and partners in November 2028.
An exhibition with international momentum since 2010
The Bahrain International Air Show was launched in 2010, becoming a well-established station in the aviation and aerospace sectors, attracting the most prominent international companies, senior government officials, military and civilian delegations, and specialists from around the world. The exhibition is a major platform for commercial and operational exchange between international companies and players in the Gulf region.
