Dubai - UAE
The attention of the tourism and travel industry is turning to Dubai, as the activities of the thirty-third session of the Arabian Travel Market exhibition “ATM 2026” will begin on Monday, September 14, and will continue until September 17. The event comes under the slogan “Travel 2040: Opening new horizons through innovation and technology,” putting the future of travel and digital transformations at the forefront of the discussion.

Over 210 speakers and 80 sessions

The conference program brings together more than 210 speakers from governments and the private sector, through more than 80 sessions distributed on the global stage, the future theater, and the experiment center. Discussions address artificial intelligence, aviation and air connectivity, hospitality, traveler behavior, investment, sustainability, and business events, in addition to the sector’s ability to confront crises and build more resilient growth models.

Ministers and tourism leaders on one platform
The program opens with a welcome speech from Sheikha Al Nowais, Secretary-General of the United Nations Tourism Organization, followed by a speech by Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism. The first day will also witness a ministerial discussion on building a more flexible tourism sector through cooperation, with a focus on enhancing the competitiveness of the Gulf countries and the confidence of travelers.

Curtis: A platform for businesses and partnerships

Describing the importance of the event, Danielle Curtis, Regional Portfolio Manager at RX in the UAE, said: “Our top priority is to ensure that the Arabian Travel Market provides the strongest possible platform for business, networking and partnership opportunities for the international travel community.”

Technology is redefining the travel experience

Technology has a larger space this year through ATM Travel Tech, which highlights artificial intelligence, robotics, immersive technologies, financial technology and smart mobility, at a time when digital solutions move from simply facilitating booking to managing increasing parts of the traveler’s journey.

What does the exhibition mean for the Arab traveler and investor?
For Arab tourists, the outcomes of the exhibition may appear in new airlines, more personalized hotel experiences, and easier digital travel solutions. As for investors and tourism companies, the event gives them an opportunity to monitor trends and build direct partnerships with destinations, airlines, hotels and global technology providers. With more than 55,000 professionals expected to attend and more than 2,800 exhibitors from 166 countries, Dubai will transform for four days into a global laboratory for what travel will look like in the coming years.
