Dubai-United Arab Emirates
Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai will host the World Summit on the Future of Hospitality 2026 during the period from September 29th to October 1st, organized by The Punch Company, with wide participation that includes an elite group of senior representatives of government agencies, decision makers, and leaders of the regional and international hospitality sector.
Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, will deliver the key opening speech of the summit entitled The Engine of Growth in the UAE: Tourism, Investment and the New Economy, as part of a qualitative event that brings together more than 100 international experts and speakers to discuss the prospects for investment expansion, sustainability paths, and applications of innovation and technical transformation under the slogan of reinvesting in our future.
Investment platforms for residential projects and startups
The summit program witnesses the launch of qualitative initiatives, led by the Future of Hospitality platform for residential investment, which has expanded to include the seven categories of residential assets and hotel projects with co-branded brands, in addition to the emerging companies platform dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs in the food and hospitality sector.
The summit also provides practical tools for concluding partnerships through a deal room dedicated to presenting pioneering real estate opportunities, an exclusive investor lounge, and investor breakfast sessions to exchange visions about promising projects, in addition to distributing excellence and innovation awards to celebrate the inspiring pioneers who left clear marks in the development of the hotel industry.
Impacts on business tourism and accommodation movement in Dubai
This global summit strengthens Dubai's position as a leading destination in conference and exhibition (MICE) tourism and a major hub for capital flows towards hospitality projects and tourism real estate development in the region.
The presence of international delegations contributes to raising hotel occupancy rates within the city’s luxury resorts and accommodation facilities, and revitalizing the transportation, services and upscale restaurant sectors, in addition to the role of the discussions in accelerating the launch of new resorts and tourist experiences that enhance the emirate’s attractiveness, and keep pace with the accelerating trends of the knowledge economy and luxury travel, in order to achieve the goals of comprehensive and sustainable economic development in the UAE.
