Dubai - UAE
The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai “Dubai Residency” participates in the Arabian Travel Market 2026 exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Center from September 14 to 17, where it showcases an integrated system of services and solutions designed to facilitate the movement of travelers, expand the options for visiting the UAE, and enhance the visitor’s experience from his arrival to Dubai ports until his departure.
“Red Carpet” and “Click and Travel”... techniques that speed up procedures
The “Red Carpet” service comes at the forefront of the services offered, as it employs biometric verification techniques to identify travelers and complete passport procedures quickly and smoothly without the need to present travel documents at every step, while the “Click and Travel” service allows passport officers to complete entry and departure procedures via mobile devices during peak and emergency times, thus enhancing the flow of passenger movement at Dubai airports.
Flexible visas that meet visitors' needs
The platform is known as a five-year multi-entry tourist visa, which allows the visitor to enter the country multiple times without a guarantor or host, in addition to the service of issuing a 60-day country visa for nationals of some countries residing outside it, which provides flexible options for eligible groups according to the approved conditions.
The “Happiness Card” is an added value for tourists
The Events and Quality of Life Department is showcasing the “Happiness Card” service, which allows tourists arriving through Dubai outlets to benefit from exclusive offers and discounts provided by a wide network of partners in the sectors of tourism, travel, restaurants, shopping, health, beauty, and vehicle services.
Faster and more flexible services
In this context, Major General Talal Ahmed Al Shanqeeti, Assistant Director General of Air Ports at Dubai Residence, stressed that participation represents an opportunity to introduce the travel and tourism community to developed solutions, and said: “
We continue, in cooperation with our partners, to develop faster and more flexible services, and provide options that suit the needs of travelers, which reflects Dubai’s readiness and ability to provide a smooth, safe and integrated travel experience, and supports the growth and sustainability of the tourism sector.”
What do these services mean for Arab tourists and investors?
This system carries important implications for the Arab tourist, as the five-year multi-entry visa reduces the hassle of repetitive procedures and opens the door to more regular family and business visits, while the expansion of smart ports gives the Arab investor the opportunity to move smoothly between Dubai and the region’s markets, which enhances confidence in the Emirati business environment and makes the emirate an ideal base for managing regional projects.
