The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance organized the “Open Day” event for the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Umrah and Visitation Program for the year 1448 AH, in one of the recreational parks in the Al-Hada area, as part of the cultural and entertainment programs organized by the Ministry for the program’s guests.

Saudi coffee and poetry houses in a live experience

The event provided guests with the opportunity to learn about aspects of Saudi culture and heritage, through the experience of preparing Saudi coffee, and touring the poetry houses and the desert tent, and the components and manifestations it contains that embody the authenticity of the Saudi heritage.

20 African countries are on the guest list

It is noteworthy that the third batch of guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Umrah and Visitation Program includes hosts from African countries: Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Senegal, Guinea Conakry, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Niger, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Chad, Tanzania, Djibouti, South Africa, and Zambia.

The Kingdom's message to the world: hospitality and pride in identity
This event carries a special significance for Arab and African guests alike, as it goes beyond being an entertainment program to present a vivid picture of the Kingdom, which is not limited to serving only the guests of God, but also opens to them the doors of its culture and heritage. The experience of Saudi coffee and poetry houses is not just a tourist activity, but rather a bridge of cultural communication that reflects the depth of Saudi identity and its pride in its heritage.

This type of program represents a valuable opportunity for the Arab visitor to learn about new Saudi tourist destinations such as Taif and Al Hada, which opens the door to a mutual Arab tourist movement. The program also enhances the Kingdom's image as an integrated tourist destination that combines spirituality, culture and nature, which reflects positively on the national tourism sector and its promising investment opportunities.
