Kuwait - the capital
Jazeera Airways, the low-cost Kuwaiti carrier, announced its cooperation with the Czech Tourism Authority (CzechTourism) to launch direct travel packages from Kuwait to the Czech capital, Prague, for the first time during the winter season, on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM 2026) exhibition in Dubai.

Details of the new flights: two flights per week from December 17

As of December 17, 2026, Jazeera Airways will operate two direct flights weekly between Kuwait and Prague, with timings that suit the winter school holidays and the travel season during the holiday period. This new service will continue until February 7, 2027, in a step that is the first of its kind to expand the Kuwait-Prague line to include the winter season after it was limited to the European summer season.

The flight duration is about 5 hours and 35 minutes without stopping, with a distance of approximately 3,670 km. The first flight of the winter season will depart on December 17 on line J9 37, departing from Kuwait International Airport at 09:30 and arriving at Prague Airport at 13:05 local time.

The importance of the destination for the Gulf traveler
This new service constitutes an important addition to the winter travel options for travelers from Kuwait and the Gulf countries, as it provides a direct, non-stop flight to one of the most beautiful European destinations in its most magical season. Kuwaiti passport holders need a Schengen visa in advance, with a fee of 90 euros for those over 12 years old, and 45 euros for children from 6 to 12 years old, with the possibility of submitting the application up to 6 months before the trip date.

Prague is one of the favorite European destinations for travelers from the region thanks to its rich cultural heritage and preserved historical buildings. The Czech Republic includes more than 1,200 castles and palaces and 16 sites listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Flights are available for booking through the Jazeera Airways website and smartphone application.
