Riyadh - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The Media Ambassadors Initiative of the Saudi Media Forum announced the reception of international media ambassadors, as part of an ambitious approach aimed at expanding the initiative’s regional and international scope, and benefiting from leading global experiences and expertise.
The initiative falls within an integrated national training system that seeks to qualify young cadres and represent the national identity in accordance with the highest professional standards and create responsible media influence, through qualitative partnerships and sustainable training paths that enhance knowledge exchange and consolidate a positive mental image of the comprehensive development renaissance that the Kingdom is witnessing in various sectors.
Specialized tracks for content creation and influence
The program is based on four axes, including professional empowerment, making an impact, representing identity, and sustainability, targeting story makers, program presenters, and designers.
The program successfully organized forty-two introductory workshops and ten specialized workshops attended by more than eight hundred and fifty participants, across three main tracks: creative content engineering, the arts of presence and charisma, and design and professional visual communication. This system contributes to transforming young talents into qualified cadres who possess the tools and technical skills necessary to produce qualitative content that keeps pace with rapid international changes.
Implications for tourism promotion and the event economy
This step contributes to supporting the tourism and hospitality industry in the Kingdom, by employing international media tools to highlight pioneering tourism projects and unique heritage destinations to the external public.
The influx of international media delegations also supports the capital's position as a global center for hosting conferences and exhibition tourism, which reflects positively and directly on raising occupancy rates in hotel accommodation facilities and activating travel and hospitality services, as well as enhancing soft power and attracting tourists and investors from various markets.
