Hanoi - Vietnam
The Vietnamese town of La Bang is intensifying its preparations to promote tea culture and highlight its heritage tourism components, in conjunction with the ongoing preparations to host the Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival 2026. Current efforts focus on preparing open spaces and modernizing the infrastructure, in addition to organizing interactive workshops that allow visitors to learn closely about the tea industry, which forms the core of the cultural and economic identity of the region.

Interactive experiences in the heart of nature

Under the slogan “The famous Vietnamese tea shines in La Bang,” the civil activities will take place at the “Pop Ngoc” cooperative farms and the cultural center in the town, where tourists will have the opportunity to have a live experience of picking tea buds, cooking the leaves, and following the traditional preparation stages. The activities also include handicraft displays and traditional folk games, as well as the launch of digital tourist maps enhanced with rapid response technologies to facilitate visitors’ movement between natural paths.
In this context, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Director of the Tourism and Culture Department in the region, explained that organizing the festival is not limited to celebrating the local product, but rather represents an international platform to highlight the cultural diversity in Vietnam and attract investments towards the areas of sustainable tourism and rural development.

Promising dimensions for the Arab investor and visitor

This festival represents an opportunity for the Arab visitor looking for peaceful tourist experiences in the embrace of tropical nature and to enjoy ancient eco-tourism and heritage activities. On the other hand, the event opens investment horizons for the Arab investor to benefit from emerging opportunities in developing luxury hotels and eco-resorts, and supporting hospitality and logistics services related to the growing tourism sector in Southeast Asia.
