Dubai - UAE
Today, Dubai is turning into a global forum for the tourism and travel industry, with the launch of the thirty-third session of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM 2026) at the Dubai World Trade Center, with wide participation from tourist destinations, airlines, hotels, tour operators, technology companies, investors and decision makers from around the world.
Travel 2040 is at the heart of the debate
The exhibition continues from September 14 to 17, 2026, with the participation of more than 55,000 specialists, 2,800 exhibitors, and 6,600 buyers from about 166 countries, which strengthens its position as one of the most prominent platforms for the travel and tourism industry in the region.
Travel 2040 is at the heart of the debate
This year's edition will be held under the slogan “Travel 2040: Opening new horizons through innovation and technology,” with a clear focus on artificial intelligence, travel technology, sustainability, ultra-luxury tourism, and business events.
The program includes more than 210 speakers across more than 80 sessions discussing the future of aviation, hospitality, air connectivity, traveler behaviour, investment and digital transformation, in addition to how to build a more flexible tourism industry in the face of global changes.
The first day will witness the participation of prominent government and tourism leaders, including Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, and Sheikha Al Nowais, Secretary-General of the United Nations Tourism Organization, along with ministers and international officials discussing regional cooperation and enhancing the competitiveness of destinations.
Technology is reshaping the journey
This year, the ATM Travel Tech platform stands out as one of the main themes of the exhibition, with discussions on artificial intelligence, digital distribution, financial technology, and smart booking experiences.
The exhibition also addresses the future of hospitality, with demand shifting from mere accommodation to an integrated tourism experience that includes culture, wellness, food, adventures and personal services.
Dubai showcases its tourism system
Dubai is participating in the exhibition with more than 115 government and private entities, in a step that reflects the integration of the tourism, aviation, hospitality and events system in the emirate.
For the Arab investor, ATM provides an opportunity to monitor the fastest growing sectors in tourism, especially technology, hospitality, aviation and business tourism. As for the Arab traveler, many of the innovations presented today may soon turn into a faster, smarter and more personalized trip.
In Dubai, the ATM does not ask the question “Where are we traveling to?” Not only, but a bigger question: How will we travel in 2040?
