Dubai - Al Rehla newspaper

Flysham Airlines honored Al Rehla newspaper as a strategic media partner, during its partners’ ceremony held in Dubai under the slogan “Together we fly further,” in the presence of representatives from the aviation, tourism, travel and media sectors, in addition to a number of personalities and those interested in the travel industry.

The honor was received by Mr. Mahmoud Al-Jishi, editor-in-chief of Al-Rahla newspaper, in a new station that reflects the newspaper’s growing presence within the tourism and travel sector in the region.

From covering the industry to being present within it

The honor comes at a time when “The Journey” has strengthened its presence in the heart of the tourism scene, through field coverage of major exhibitions and forums, keeping pace with developments in aviation, hospitality, destinations and tourism investment, in addition to building a network of direct relationships with companies, decision makers and institutions working in the sector.

The newspaper also expanded its media production in Arabic and English, focusing on specialized content that links news to market movement and the interests of travelers and investors, thus enhancing the role of tourism media as an active part of the industry system and not just a transmitter of its news.

A media partnership that goes beyond the news
“Al Rehla” and “Fly Sham” have a strategic media partnership based on keeping up with the carrier’s activity and the development of its operations, and delivering its news to the travel and tourism audience, as part of the newspaper’s direction to expand its professional relationships with airlines, airports, hotels and tourist destinations.

Partners meet in Dubai

The ceremony was held in cooperation with Fly and More, the general agent of Flysham in the UAE, and was dedicated to celebrating the partners who contributed to supporting the company’s operations and results in the UAE market during the years 2025 and 2026.

During the evening, "Fly Cham" honored a number of tourism and travel agencies that achieved advanced levels in bookings and sales, where "Ya Cham Travel and Tourism" won first place, while "Elaf Travel and Tourism" won third place in recognition of its performance.

Regional expansion of the flight network

The ceremony coincides with an expansion phase in FlyCham's activity. Osama Sateh, business development and public relations advisor at the company, had confirmed in published statements the carrier’s intention to add new stations and develop its activity in transporting passengers and freight, in parallel with strengthening its presence in regional markets.

What does this mean for the Arab traveler?
For the Arab traveler, the expansion of regional airlines and their agent networks means more travel options and connections between cities, while the importance of specialized media in communicating information about flights, destinations and services to the public in a clearer and closer way to their needs is increasing.

Honoring “The Journey” adds a new station to the newspaper’s itinerary, and confirms its vision to be present where the tourism and travel movement is created, and not to be satisfied with monitoring it from afar.
