Paris - France
Lovers of seventh art in Paris no longer need to search for traditional dark halls; The Gustave Eiffel Hall on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower was transformed into a cinema screen at a height of 57 meters above the French capital. This unique experience, entitled "Cinéma Paradiso", came about in partnership between the "mk2" group and the tower's management, and included the screening of nine international and classic films in its historical atmosphere.

Free electronic lottery and a rare experience

Due to the limited space capacity and the privacy of the event, the organizers adopted an electronic lottery mechanism to award tickets free of charge to the public, with a ceiling of two tickets for each winner. This method contributed to giving a character of rarity and passion to the experience that combined the magic of movies with charming panoramic views of the capital from the top of the most famous French landmark.

Organizers' vision to reinvent locations

mk2 Group General Manager, Elisha Karmitz, highlighted the festival's philosophy and the re-presentation of the landmarks, saying: “Cinéma Paradiso was founded to celebrate the power of cinema to bring people together and amaze them, by transforming iconic locations into temporary cultural destinations.”
Innovative inspiration for tourism and the Arab investor

This initiative offers the Arab visitor a new angle to enjoy major landmarks through live experiences that go beyond traditional sightseeing visits. It also constitutes an inspiring model for investors and tourism makers in the Gulf and Arab region to reinvest famous landmarks and towers, by incorporating temporary cultural events that raise the marketing and investment value of tourist destinations.

In Paris, even the cinema decided this time to see the city from above.
