The luxury resort at Saudi Arabia's Triple Bay wins Best New Hotel Building and Best Guestrooms at the AHEAD 2026 Awards, featuring 202 guestrooms, suites and garden villas, alongside 26 private residences overlooking the Red Sea.
Tabuk – Saudi Arabia – Al-Rehla
Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA, located at Triple Bay on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, has won three awards at the AHEAD Middle East & Africa 2026 Awards, including the prestigious Hotel of the Year title, less than five months after officially opening and welcoming its first guests in June.
The winners were announced during a ceremony held in Dubai on November 2, 2026, attended by more than 350 hospitality design and development professionals.
The resort also received awards for Best New Hotel Building and Best Guestrooms.
Three Awards Recognising Hospitality Design
The accolades recognise the resort's architectural and interior design, developed by Red Sea Global in collaboration with Four Seasons.
The architectural design was created by U+A, while the interiors were designed by Goddard Littlefair.
The AHEAD Awards are among the hospitality industry's specialist design awards, recognising projects across categories including architecture, interior spaces and the overall hospitality experience.
Regional winners are also expected to compete in the programme's global awards.
202 Guestrooms and 26 Private Residences on the Red Sea
The resort officially opened on June 15, 2026, becoming the first resort to welcome guests at AMAALA.
It features 202 guestrooms, suites and garden villas, alongside 26 private Four Seasons-branded residences ranging from 552 square metres to more than 1,000 square metres.
Facilities include the 2,095-square-metre HYLIAA wellness and recovery centre, six restaurants, five swimming pools and a 900-metre private beach.
The resort operates using renewable energy and incorporates resource and waste management solutions aligned with the destination's sustainability objectives.
Al-Rehla Perspective | Early Recognition for an Emerging Destination
Winning three awards just months after opening provides Four Seasons AMAALA with an opportunity to strengthen international awareness of a new Saudi tourism destination focused on luxury hospitality and wellness.
However, the awards reflect the judging panels' recognition of the resort's design and hospitality experience, rather than independently demonstrating its commercial performance.
Occupancy rates, booking trends and average guest spending will provide more meaningful indicators of how this recognition influences the resort's performance over time.
